Rick Smith vs Frank Pitts
Its about a car that my daughter lost her life from that I bought from Frank Pitts. A attorney who wanted me to make a deal in court in which I payed around 4000 for a 2 dollar car.
The day that I was at Pitts's place, I gave him a check for $500 for the car. Then after we had made a deal, I asked him about a title. After I hired Dyer, he said after I got the car, I would get the title. That was a lie.
I had tried to talk Pitts into letting me have the car. He told me he was going to crush the car. I called Dustin Dyer, and made an appointment with him. In his office, he called Pitts up. Pitts said he didnt want me to have the car because he didn't want me to use it against Maria's family. Dyer said he needed a filing fee. Dyer said that since I had given him other business that he wasn't going to charge me for representing me on this case. Later he changed his mind and wanted 500 more. We had court in Hot Springs. Marsha Eckardt came with me to Hot Springs that day. I felt bad that day. Dyer wanted to make a deal out of court. So instead of me paying, I was completely against it. I did it anyway. I agreed to pay $1500 to Pitts, and $1000 to Ar. Childrens Hosp. I paid over $3180 for a $2 car, not counting all the trips to Hot Springs and Benton. I sent a cashier's check to Dustin Dyers office. It stayed there in his office a very long time. He would not send the check to Pitts atty. I had to make a trip to Benton to pick it up, and then take it to Hot Springs. Dyer's secretary told me to make a check out to Dyer. I did it anyway. Later I went to Pitts's atty's office in Hot Springs, and paid them directly.
